The “Month of Ensembles” opens tonight with a concert of the State Folklore Ensemble “Filip Kutev” in Lovech. It is dedicated to the work of the national leaders.
“Month of the Ensembles” in Lovech is organized for the first time on the idea of the People’s Chitalishte “Byala Anasta 2016”, in partnership with the Lovech Drama Theatre and the municipality, explained the chairman of the Chitalishte Board Kristian Kostov.
“Our idea and mission is to make this an annual event and to make it happen every year in November on the occasion of the Day of the National Enlighteners and every year the ensembles are different.
People in our town are folk oriented and that’s why we decided that we should do something even more folk oriented, now on a professional level.”
After the concert of the State Folklore Ensemble “Philip Kutev” the residents and guests of the town will enjoy the performances of the ensembles “Strandja” and “Thrace”, as well as the performance “100 years of Professor Djenev” of the Department of Choreography at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Assen Deamandiev” – Plovdiv.
All concerts are in the Drama Theatre.
