PFA “Strandja” from Burgas will perform tonight on the Dimitrovgrad stage. The concert is at 8.30 p.m. in the central square “Bulgaria” and is part of the 75th anniversary of the city.
Nearly 50 musicians, singers, and dancers from the ensemble participate in it with unique choreographies.
The ensemble has performed more than 6000 concerts at home and abroad. He has toured successfully in the USA, Belgium, India, Hungary, France, Macedonia, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey, Austria and many other countries.
Professional Folklore Ensemble “Strandja” was founded in 1965 with the aim of researching, preserving, processing and popularizing the musical, singing, dancing and verbal folklore of Southeastern Bulgaria. Its repertoire includes dozens of performances, choral, solo and orchestral works from all ethnographic areas.
The chief artistic director is Mario Egov, conductor of the ensemble – Lyuben Kasabov, conductor of the orchestra – Nikolai Chapkanov, choreographer – Miho Atanasov and choirmaster – Atanaska Boneva.
